Time to get excited about our upcoming Mid-Year Event 2025 in Kraków!

This year, our focus is on Winning as ONE – coming together as a team, learning from one another, and pushing ourselves to grow, both personally and professionally.

The event will take place from Tuesday, July 8th to Wednesday, July 9th.

We'll kick things off on Tuesday morning in the Kraków Hive with business updates followed by a team lunch.

Next, we’ll take a break and head out for an energizing powerwalk through Ojcowski Park Narodowy, where you can enjoy the fresh air, connect with fellow Bees, and take in the stunning scenery.

As the day winds down, we’ll gather for a relaxed dinner party in a beautiful nature setting at Peron Bagry Restaurant—the perfect way to end an inspiring day!

🔔 Travel & Expense Guidelines

Our KRK Mid Year Event 2025 will take place from Tuesday, July 8th, 10:00 AM until Wednesday, July 9th, 12:00 PM

Travelling expenses will only be reimbursed if they are in line with these guidelines and submitted with a photo of the original receipt.
Submit your eligible receipts under your own department's cost center in Yokoy under the category “KRK Mid Year Event 2025”.
No clothing or personal items will be reimbursed.
All Mid Year Event-related expenses require manager approval and must comply with these event expense guidelines.

↔️ Airport & Train Station Transfer

Travel from your home to the nearest airport

Use public transportation to your local airport or train station whenever possible; these expenses are reimbursable.

Private vehicle/taxi (Lyft/Uber, car-sharing) will be reimbursed only if it saves at least 30 minutes one-way compared to public transit, results in cost savings, or if public transport is unsuitable (e.g., injury, late-night travel). Provide the justification when submitting these expenses in Yokoy explaining the need for private transport.

Transfer from Kraków Balice International Airport to the Hotel

Use Uber/Taxi for Airport transfers
Share rides whenever possible. Once you register here and submit your travel times, WOPS will try to group you with other Bees arriving at similar times.

Personal Extensions: If you would like to extend your stay for personal reasons (early arrival or late departure), keep in mind that the transportation costs to/from Krakow airport will not be reimbursed.

Transfer from Kraków Main Train Station to the Hotel

The hotel is located directly next to the Main Train Station (200 meters away). Therefore, transportation costs to the hotel will not be reimbursed.

🚆 Trains

Go to PKP Intercity and search for trains arriving in Kraków Main Train Station on Tuesday, July 8th, by 10:00 AM and depart on Wednesday, July 9th.
If you need to leave your home before 6:00 AM, you are eligible to have a train the night before.
For train travel, bookings should be made outside of TravelPerk. Train tickets must be purchased individually via PKP Intercity, and the expense should be submitted through Yokoy. Please remember to purchase the tickets with an invoice.
Train costs fall under your department's cost center.
Book Economy Class.

🚨 Personal Extensions: If you would like to extend your trip for personal reasons, your train travel cost must be the same or less than the cost shown for the event dates. A pre-approval is needed via Hive Form HERE.

✈️ Flights

If you need to leave your home before 6:00 AM, you are eligible to fly the night before.
All flights must be booked through TravelPerk. You will receive an email invitation to join the event group.
If TravelPerk does not offer suitable options or you find a more affordable fee outside of the platform, contact the TravelPerk Concierge Service for support.
Please note that NO FLIGHT costs will be reimbursed if booked outside of the platform.
Book flights before registering for the event, as travel details are required in the registration form.
Book Economy Class with hand luggage only.
If unsure about attendance, book with FlexiPerk (adds 10% to but offers flexibility).
Flight cost limit: EUR 350 (including flexibility options)
Out-of-policy flights: If flagged, contact WOPS (Andrea Herrera) via Hive for manual approval.

🏨 Hotel

Your hotel room has been booked by the WOPS Team. Travelling Bees are staying at the PURO Kraków Stare Miasto.

Bees residing in Kraków and the surrounding areas are not eligible for hotel reimbursement.

Beekeeper covers 1 night (July 8th to 9th), including breakfast (2 nights for early-arrival-approved travellers).
Non-reimbursable expenses: Laundry, room service, minibar, social drinks, and any other personal costs.

Extra nights (personal extensions) must be arranged privately and will not be reimbursed.

Offsite Activity - Nature Walk at Ojcowski Park Narodowy

Despite being the smallest national park in the country, it boasts breathtaking landscapes, dramatic limestone cliffs, lush forests, and a network of scenic trails perfect for exploration.
